Looking at the 5:15 radar image out of Melbourne:

The eye of Jeanne now stretches across three counties as it just edges into Glades County on the west, cuts across Okeechobee County, and is now edging into southeast Osceola County with this latest elongation. Watching the loops, it really looks like it is trying to make a hard right turn to the north-northwest, but then again I’ve been thinking that with every wobble since it was sitting off Abacos Island.
I must really be getting over this whole hurricane thing.

It’s starting to become normal to have a hurricane approaching. That’s almost scary.
