Mass demonstrations of teachers in Iran - Little by little the pressure mounts. The eventual explosion is coming. You can't oppress a people for this long, this harshly, without consequence. The thugocracy's Day of Reckoning is drawing near.

If the Turks can keep from killing Kurds, maybe the Kurds would tolerate them better.

That's a good point, Paul. Neither side is above blame in the issue. But at some point they need to find their Rodney King and need to learn to "just get along."

But then again, I've always been of the opinion that these tribal disputes, Israeli/Palestinian included, are a complete waste of time, effort, and resources. Nothing ever seems to get accomplished outside of the perpetuation of the string of perceived wrongs which lead to the fighting to begin with and a bunch of new business for the local undertaker.

At some point, they're going to have to resolve the issue. Now is certainly better than later.
