Quick Links
Pilot fixes faulty jet stranded on Spanish island - When I used to work for the airlines, one of my favorite airplanes was the 757. It seemed to be nearly indestructible (and God only knows I saw a few with pieces missing or broken!), but it always seemed that when something did go wrong, they could have it flying again in a matter of hours, where other planes would take days. A great airplane, the 757.
Internet Worm Plaguing Computers Worldwide - I know this has been linked a few other places already today, but I know of at least one large company that had issues with it, so it sounds like it was a bit more powerful than Symantec wanted us to believe at first.
Poli Sci Prof: P.A. Must Be Crushed - He's takes a bit harder line with the PA than I do. Just a bit.
Israeli wall suffocates Palestinian towns - I couldn't find an actual link to this one, but I have to say it's an, ummm, interesting read. Unfortunately, the comments below the article seem to be almost as extreme the other way.
Big 3 Networks to Mark 9/11 with Harder Stance - It's really a good thing that the big three were run different during WWII. Can you imagine what would have happened if on December 7, 1943 if they had pulled this kind of a stunt? If you want to ask questions, fine. The government needs to be held accountable. But don't denigrate the symbolism of the day. It is a day for remembrance, for now and forever. It is not an opportunity to effect some great anti-President reporting policy.
